about

π˜—π˜°π˜΄π˜΅π˜€π˜’π˜³π˜₯ 𝘐: 𝘈𝘯𝘡π˜ͺ𝘀π˜ͺ𝘱𝘒𝘡π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯𝘴 is the very first release of the 𝘚𝘰𝘢𝘯π˜₯ π˜—π˜°π˜΄π˜΅π˜€π˜’π˜³π˜₯𝘴 project which is based on open call for fieldrecordings curated by Martyna Basta and futher released under Progrefonik label as a letter correspondence with sounds instead of words.

We may be separated by tens or hundreds of kilometers, but by fieldrecordings we have the opportunity to be in each other's spaces at least for a while and, in the end, to create an absolutely new place for our ears, accumulating in itself a multitude of soundscapes. Every postcard of this kind becomes an exchange of tones between cities, spaces and gestures creating certain recordings.

Anticipation seems to be a distant word, rather accompanying key phrases (thus emphasizing the whole specificity of this notion), hiding in the depths of dictionaries. However, it circulates unnoticed around us every day, winks at the corner of our subconscious and disturbs what is relatively arranged. Because who of us does not anticipate the future? Doesn't try to unveil at least a scrap of the curtain? Who doesn't delude themselves that there is something obvious behind it? Deceptive, anyway, because anticipation is always connected with imagination. The ones that stir up anxiety, when something full of tension appears for us from behind the corner, but also the ones connected with expectations that often have nothing to do with reality.

π˜—π˜°π˜΄π˜΅π˜€π˜’π˜³π˜₯ 𝘐: 𝘈𝘯𝘡π˜ͺ𝘀π˜ͺ𝘱𝘒𝘡π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯𝘴 consists of three parts where every one of them tells its own narration and brings different kind of tension. Nevertheless, their connection becomes obscure sentiments, vague predictions and waiting for what stays uncertain.
